WHOLE SUN MONTH Third Campaign Plans
Most likely JOPS to be involved
Note: this is an evolving planning page - more details will be continuously
added.

Possible questions which we propose to answer (or address) with the Whole Sun Campaigns
`Ideal' streamers will be observed during the first week
of WSM. Then in the 3rd week, some of these will be observed again
after they've rotated to the other limb. In addition to this, UVCS
and LASCO will possibly run a 15 minute cadence streamer morphology
campaign at some point in association with JOP 76. Pointing for the
first streamer to be decided by B. Thompson using EIT data to find a
streamer in the plane-of-the-sky. Try to observe streamer without
active region at base if possible.
Target of opportunity to be run when a sigmoidal active
region is on the disk. S. Gibson is responsible for declaring the
TOO.
Check back occasionally to see if this link has become active.
This JOP will be run at all other times, with the choice
of targets depending upon the targets available. Various targets
include Polar CH, Equatorial CH, Quiet Sun, and CH Boundary. It is
possible we will run JOP 102 in association with this. Many of the
decisions here will be made by CDS and UVCS planners.
IPS Observations
EISCAT
IPS observations will be occurring throughout the WSM
period. See the JOP 106 description for other IPS plans. UVCS may
make outflow velocity measurements in conjunction with some of the IPS
observations.
