I have checked the recorded Kp values from August to September.
There might be a transient on August 15, but there is really no noteworthy
activity in the time interval 10 August to 15 September ! No major storm
(Kp ge 8), not even a medium class (Kp ge 6) one. Sorry to report this.
It may well be that there was something in the solar wind
during that period, but whatever it was, it did not affect the
Earth noteworthy.
 

I do not think that this preliminary finding will be superseeded
by something I overlooked.
