Leonard Sitongia is an Associate Scientist III in the High Altitude Observatory of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. He received his MS in Astrophysics in 1984 from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He has been at NCAR since the fall of 1988 when he took a systems administration position in HAO. He also spent five years in CISL doing web software engineering in Java. Since returning to HAO, his focus is on processing data from MLSO. His interests are in data management, computation, visualization, modeling in astronomy and in the radiative transfer and MHD of the Sun and Universe.
